WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS

The following information relates to warranties offered by Wander Series WA Pty Ltd. Please read these Warranty Terms & Conditions carefully. Should you have any questions relating to any aspect of this section, then please contact us. By purchasing an item from Wander Series WA Pty Ltd, you hereby agree to all terms and conditions of warranty as set out herein.

WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS

Wander Series goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. In addition to our warranty, the consumer may also be covered by other rights and remedies of Consumer Law in relation to the goods and/or services to which this warranty relates.

Wander Series warrants to the original purchaser of every trailer/caravan that all parts of our manufacture are free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 12 months from date of purchase under normal use and specified service, except for the items listed under “What is not covered’ and subject to compliance with the section entitled “What must you do”.

Items Covered:

• 5 years structural warranty covers the drawbar and chassis only from fatigue from original date of purchase only.
• 1 year limited manufacturer's warranty from the original date of purchase.

Items Not Covered:

• Storm damage or other acts of nature.
• Rust.
• Fabric items.
• Mould that has formed on the canvas.
• Travel covers and straps.
• General wear and tear.
• General consumable items such as tyres, bearing and bearing seals, brake linings, magnets, tyres, wheel alignment, paint, zips, mesh and screens etc. Wander Series supply spare parts if needed which can be purchased from us (postage will apply).
• Permanent living possible premature wear and tear is not covered. Not valid on items purchased for the purpose of rental, loan, or commercial use.
• Damage or defects caused by excessive speed, hard impact.
• Damage caused by stones and not driving to the conditions.
• Warranty covers factory faults only, but not damages caused by improper use. Warranty does not cover damage due to unauthorised modifications, incorrect assembly, improper and irregular maintenance, abuse, misuse, or accident damage or collision.The purchaser must follow the instructions, care and maintenance information provided by Wander Series Campers & Caravans to ensure that the product performs to the purpose intended.
• Will not warrant if it is towed behind commercial trucks of any kind due to the harsh suspension that is used to carry weight, not for towing.
• No warranty is offered on products sold at auction , ex demonstration, factory seconds , damaged or used product.

1. Warranty applies ONLY to the original buyer from the original date of purchase. The warranty is not transferable or deferable in any way. Once sold or otherwise disposed off by the original purchaser to any third party, all warranties become null & void, and the original purchaser shall make no claims or be eligiable for any claims on behalf of the new owner.

2. Tents for camping trailer are covered by a 12 month warranty, however wear & tear, misuse are not covered. Tent warranties are also on a return to base warranty, and are not covered for leakage if it is found that the tent has not been weathered correctly or has been overstretched during tent erection. Tents are not covered under warranty for usage of sprays on canvas.

3.Any Supplied components/ Pre-installed appliances and equipments which are not manufactured or supplied by Wander Series Campers & Caravans (eg. Camping Fridge) are covered by the warranty of such items for the term offered by the manufacturer. The fittings & equipments that may be separately warranted could include, without limitation.

• Microwave Ovens
• Air Conditioner
• Toilets
• Hot Water System
• Stereo System

These separately warranted components are not covered by Wander Series warranty. However, we will assist you in making a warranty claim if needed. Please take the time to read owner’s manual on these components and appliances to ensure that you are familiar with the component’s operation, service procedures etc.

4.Warranty is for new trailers/caravans ONLY .

Warranty on trailers sold as “SPECIALS” will be sold with full warranty. Trailers sold as "EX DEMO" will have limited warranty, and that warranty is to be negotiated at time of purchase.

5.Trailers must be returned to our showroom for any warranty work. The warranty does not include pick up, or delivery from our showroom. 

5.1 Any Transport, accommodation, towing or recovery costs arising from a warranty claim are the responsibility of the purchaser unless stated in writing by Wander Series Campers & Caravans.

5.2 When carrying out warranty work, it will be at Wander Series Campers & Caravans’ disgression as to the repair or replacement of parts.

5.3 Work performed under a warranty claim approved by Wander Series Campers & Caravans must be performed by an authorised representative of Wander Series, and only with the express written permission of Wander Series Campers & Caravans.

5.4 Warranty is subjected to Wander Series Campers & Caravans's approval after a full inspection has been made from Wander Series Campers & Caravans to determine that the issues are genuine and not deliberate.
